Pure Milford Coach-Cruise-Coach

This full-day tour takes you from Queenstown or Te Anau into the heart of Fiordland National Park aboard a comfortable touring coach. Knowledgeable driver guides share local insight along the way, with photo stops at spots like the Eglinton Valley, Mirror Lakes, and Monkey Creek. On arrival at Piopiotahi / Milford Sound, you'll board a scenic catamaran cruise of the fiord, taking in waterfalls, towering cliffs, and resident wildlife over about 1 hour 45 minutes. A picnic lunch is included, with the option to fly back to Queenstown for an extra scenic treat.

Good to know

This tour includes both a coach journey and a cruise, each with different access requirements. The coach has 4 steps at boarding (210–250mm high) and a narrow 400mm aisle; drivers cannot assist with full transfers, so guests need to be able to transfer independently or with a companion. This trip includes a cruise on one of two vessels with very different access levels. The Gem of the Sound has step-free ramp access and wheelchair-friendly seating. The Maiden of Milford has a high entry sill (300mm, cannot be ramped) and multiple flights of stairs, with no outdoor deck access.
