Huka Falls Jet
Taupō, Lake Taupō · approx 8 minutes north of Taupō

Huka Falls Jet takes guests on a high-speed jet boat ride up the spectacular Waikato River to the base of Huka Falls — New Zealand's most powerful waterfall, where 220,000 litres of water thunder through a narrow gorge every second. Reaching speeds of 80kmph through native bush and sheer volcanic cliffs, the ride delivers 360° spins and close passes to the canyon walls before arriving at the dramatic base of the falls. The experience runs approximately 30 minutes and departs from the Huka Prawn Park, 8 minutes north of Taupō. No experience required — suitable for all ages.
