Pure Milford – Self Drive & Cruise

Drive yourself through the spectacular Fiordland National Park at your own pace, taking in roadside lookouts, short walks, and iconic stops like the Eglinton Valley, Mirror Lakes, and Monkey Creek along the way. On arrival at Piopiotahi / Milford Sound, join a scenic catamaran cruise of the fiord, taking in waterfalls, towering cliffs, and resident wildlife over about 1 hour 45 minutes, with live commentary from the crew. Check-in is at the Pure Milford desk in the Milford Sound Visitor Terminal, with boarding from Berth 5.

Good to know

This trip includes a cruise on one of two vessels with very different access levels. The Gem of the Sound has step-free ramp access and wheelchair-friendly seating. The Maiden of Milford has a high entry sill (300mm, cannot be ramped) and multiple flights of stairs, with no outdoor deck access.
