Sharing on Collect.ive

List, review and share

Three simple ways to help other travellers find places that work for them. Anyone can browse. To take part, you need an account, and Collect.ive is invite-only while we test it.

List

Add a place you know

Know a place visitors go that isn't on Collect.ive yet? Add it with its name, town and a short description of what it is. Activities, places to stay, cafés, walks, beaches and public toilets on visitor routes all count. We check every new place before it goes live.

Review

Tell others how it went

Rate your visit for Access, Service and Authenticity, then say what worked well and what would make it even better. Add photos if you like.

You can show how you travelled on that visit, for example “Uses a manual wheelchair”, so readers can judge whether your experience fits theirs. Only what you choose to share is shown.

Share a place or your review with a link, save places to your Trip Planner, and mark reviews and photos that helped you.

Joining

Who can take part

Accounts are for people aged 18 and over. You can share your own travel, or for someone you support, such as your child, partner, friend or a client.

New members' posts are checked before they go live. Once you've shared honest, helpful experiences, we may make you a Trusted traveller, and your posts go live straight away.

Good to know

When you share

Be honest and constructive. Describe what you found, such as a step, a ramp or a helpful guide. Keep personal details out, yours and other people's. Respect tikanga, site rules and everyone's privacy in photos, and don't review a business you're linked to.

Everything in your profile is optional, and you can download your information or delete your account at any time.
