About Collect.ive
Real experiences from travellers
Collect.ive by Access.ive is where travellers share how places across Aotearoa New Zealand really worked for them. Access.ive shows what an endorsed place offers. Collect.ive shows what travellers experienced. It's for everyone, including people with disabilities, people with access requirements, and everyone travelling with them.
Levels
What the marks mean
Every place shows where its details come from. Traveller listed places were added by a traveller and checked by us. Owner verified places have been confirmed by the business. Endorsed places are endorsed by Adapting Aotearoa or MakingTrax, and also have a full listing on Access.ive. Every level is shown fairly, and endorsed places get no boost in search.
Ratings
The three ratings
Every review rates three things. Access: could you take part the way you wanted to? Service: how did the team work with you? Authenticity: from booking to leaving, how genuine did it feel? They're always shown side by side, with no single overall score.
Fairness
Our promise
Reviews are never removed for being negative, or because a business asks. We never edit reviews, and if one is removed, the page says why.
